Screen flow

The eight screens from welcome to studio, where the document is actually minted, and the deliberate delays.

welcome → firstRun → start(Home) → frameworks → ai → compose → style → studio
  • •welcome — the five questions, or straight through
  • •firstRun — typewriter, then create / see examples / not yet
  • •start — Home, the six-view shell
  • •frameworks — the four cards plus "Not sure" (→ problem)
  • •ai — draft with Claude, or write it yourself
  • •compose — one field per slot, examples clickable, + between fields
  • •style — the gallery, then the document is minted
  • •studio — the canvas

The document is created in style → onUse: name from the hook, framework and styleId stamped, palette built, buildSlides run. Studio is keyed on doc.id so each project gets a fresh history stack.

Deliberate delays

Frameworks 1000ms, AI chat 300ms, style picker 1500ms with five fake progress steps, bulk 1400ms, welcome exit 1000ms. The style picker’s comment says it plainly: "Real work is instant; this is the beat that shows it happened."
